Dodging Gustav!!!
It's only been 3 years since the Gulf Coast was devastated by Hurricane Katrina, and I think I can speak for us all when I say.....We DON'T want you, Gustav!!!
I live on the Alabama Gulf Coast, about 4 miles from the Mississippi state line. Please pray for us...these situations are stressful and can be tricky to deal with. It's always crazy trying to figure out what to buy, what to do, whether to leave or stay. If we leave, we could get stranded for weeks, even months from home (leaving our home vulnerable and available to luders)....but if we stay, we are potentially putting ourselves in harms way.
We will know more in the next few days about where Gustav will go and how strong it will be. Until then, please pray for us and everyone else in the "cone"!
