Does anyone want to contribute to this?

Is there a message from beyond?
Sculptor Bridgette Mongeon specializes in creating posthumous sculpture for memorials, prayer gardens and personal art collections. She has heard numerous encounters of messages of comfort from beyond. This book project was created to give her clients and others an opportunity to share these blessings and comfort. The book is compiled by sculptor Bridgette Mongeon and her client Rosanna Mangini, who recently lost her beautiful baby to cancer.

The two authors met in 2008 when Rosanna Mangini commissioned Sculptor Bridgette Mongeon to create a life size sculpture of baby Jenna for Jenna’s gravesite. As they began to share their own feather moments and kisses from heaven, as well as report the experiences of others, they realized these stories needed to be told. Now they are working on two projects—the completion of the Jenna sculpture and the memories contained in the many Kisses From Heaven.

Here is more information on how to contribute. Please do not send contributions via e-mail but instead submit them through the contract form link listed below. Writers guidelines and samples can also be found at this website.

Writers are wanted to share their stories in an upcoming book- Kisses from Heaven

There are special cherished moments after the death of a loved one. Some call them coincidences, others a message from beyond. In this case we are calling them Kisses from Heaven. They are simple things that happen that remind us of our deceased loved one. Some seem so bazaar we are not sure how they could happen. They may be snuggling in a dream, or perhaps having a symbol of a loved one continue to appear over and over, smelling the perfume of a deceased mother, or cigar of a father who passed away. These moments, however strange, comfort us. It is our personal opinion that God gives these moments to the bereaved as a way to say, “I know your pain, and I’m still here.”

If you have a story and would like to submit for consideration for Kisses from Heaven you can find a complete set of writers guidelines at http://www.creativesculpture.com/kisses_from_heaven.html . There is no monetary compensation for your submissions, but you will be able to share your blessings.

[Please note: we are also very interested in the experiences that children have had concerning the death of a loved one]

Thanx Bridgette. I checked it out the site and found it really interesting. I also heard one other mothers comments reaffirming my disinterest in putting Michael on meds. There are some providers fairly close to my home and I have e-mailed to see if they would be interested in answering questions. I am definately going to find out more. Thanks again. Christina

I would love your opinion!
I have been working on a podcast for months now. It is called Inspirations and has a portion called Generations, where three generations of Christian women share their thoughts on life. I have just uploaded the first podcast, and have 10 more to get up there. I really would like to hear some comments, suggestions etc. Of course we are just introducing ourselves in this podcast there is so much more we share. Please check it out by going to http://www.godsword.net and then clicking on podcast and blog in the left hand column. I am hoping the tech stuff is o.k., sound may be a little low. But pretty good considering I had no idea how to do a podcast just a few months ago and now I'm doing it with three people in three different parts of the US!

Thanks for your comments. I greatly appreciate it.

Lets see if I can put an exact link to the first podcast

Thanks for the comments on my work Karla. I am blessed by what I do. Had you asked me years ago how God was going to use me I would never had guessed this. I still have some things I want to accomplish though. I have a few children's books that I would love to have published and I am very excited about the podcasts between my mom my daughter and myself.

Tina, 6 years old. Wow. He is a good age for so many of those alternative things. I can't wait to hear what happens. Please keep me informed.

I am so glad that you are interested in studying this type of thing. I am so glad that you gave me those sites to check out to study more myself. I feel that I can't work with Michael and give him the best care possible if I don't know what I am up against. I have read some books, but they deal mostly with children in older school grades so their ideas are difficult to use with Michael. We try to use their basic concepts though. I will be very excited if I can talk with you more on what you have studied as you will be able to give me insite from a logical view point, plus you seem very enthusiastic, I appreciate that. Thank you again and I hope to talk to you again soon.

A new ministry, this is so cool!

As I stated before I have been working on a new ministry between myself 47, my daughter Christina 23, and my mom Barbara 72. We now have a regular podcast (online radio show) called Inspirations Generations. A generational podcast where three generations of Christian women share their thoughts about different issues and aspects of life.

I had mentioned it before, but now it is complete and the first four podcasts are up. And yes, by request of someone on this forum, they are in an mp3 formatt s… Continue

How is the sculpture of Jenna coming along?

I thought you might like to see how the sculpture of the little girl was coming along. I have been blogging it on my fine art website blog and invite everyone to check it out. I expect it will be ready to be approved by the parents and go to foundry on Tuesday. I invite you all to read the journey!

This is the final pose chosen

changed the leg of Jenna pose to kick up a bit, the left hand is in the position of the sign language symbol for "I love you." I wrote about the process of using this 3D Program to create these presentations. Here is a link to the Best of Artists and Artisans article "Using the computer and Poser in the sculpture studio."
